How should I store my tea to maintain freshness?
To preserve the delicate flavors and aromas, store your tea in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight, moisture, and strong odors. Our airtight tins are designed for this purpose, but if you use pouches, ensure they are tightly sealed after every use.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we ship our tea blends to enthusiasts all over the world. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by destination and are calculated at checkout. Please note that customers are responsible for any local customs duties or taxes.
What is your return policy for food products?
Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns on opened tea. However, if there is an issue with your order or if the product arrived damaged, please contact our customer service team within 30 days for a replacement or refund.
Are Harney & Sons tea bags biodegradable?
We are committed to sustainability. Our classic paper tea bags are compostable, and our signature silken sachets are made from food-grade nylon or sugarcane-based material, depending on the specific product line. Please check the packaging for specific disposal instructions.
How do I know the caffeine content of a specific tea?
Generally, black teas contain the most caffeine, followed by oolong, green, and white teas. Herbal infusions (tisanes) are naturally caffeine-free. You can find specific caffeine levels and steeping instructions on each product page and on the back of every tin.
Can I modify or cancel my order after it has been placed?
We strive to process orders as quickly as possible. If you need to make changes, please contact us within 1 hour of placement. Once an order has reached our warehouse for fulfillment, we are unable to modify or cancel it.
